Settled in the 1700’s, a visit here is like stepping into the past. Amish families clip-clopping along in horse-drawn buggies. Little girls in bonnets, little boys in straw hats. Fields plowed and harvested by teams of horses. Laundry hung on long lines, in no hurry to dry. One-room schoolhouses. Amish roadside stands. And local crafts, including hundreds of handmade quilts, that reveal an artistry passed down for generations.
