Growing Up Amish with Sarah
Sarah, our new-order Amish friend, grew up in an Amish family and will explain what it’s like to grow up as an Amish child and go to an Amish school. She will share the differences between the Amish and Mennonite way of life and other interesting tidbits of information about the close-knit Amish/Mennonite community in Lancaster County, PA. She’ll even teach you how to make a Shoofly Pie! Bring your questions and come prepared to learn about a different lifestyle.

Over the summer, we invite Guests staying with us to a weekly Ice Cream Social hosted by the Smucker Family. From 7 - 9 pm you can make-your-own ice cream sundae compliments of Bird-in-Hand. The social is held at the Bird-in-Hand Family Inn by the pools.
